Mr. Heimann is a former stockbroker with Oppenheimer and Cetera Advisors. A review of Heimann’s CRD reveals that he is no longer registered with FINRA as a financial advisor and he worked for 7 different brokerage firms over his career.
Mr. Heimann was one of the largest sellers in the country of a stock called Miller Energy. Mr. Heimann effectively represented Miller Energy as a great investment opportunity to many of his former clients. In 2015 Miller Energy declared bankruptcy, and Mr. Heimann’s former clients effectively lost millions of dollars. Mr. Heimann now has 5 arbitration complaints against him for his concentrated sales in Miller Energy and other oil-related recommendations. Mr. Heimann’s former clients that have filed arbitration claims now include a 94 year old war hero with Parkinsons, an 85-year-old retiree with Alzheimers, and at least one other victim with Parkinsons.
