(Newswire.net — May 20, 2015) Naples, Florida — Chris Vernon of Vernon Litigation Group will be a featured speaker at the “Putting Investors First” symposium hosted by the CFA Society of New Mexico, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on May 21, 2015.

The one-day symposium is part of the CFA Institute’s Future of Finance Initiative. Among the purposes of the symposium is to build awareness to protect investor interests and provide tools to create an environment where investor interests come first.  Attendees will include attorneys, CPA’s, investment professionals, and investors. The presentations are designed to inform everyone on how they might protect an investor’s interests and how to make sure that the investor always comes first

Mr. Vernon’s presentation will include discussions of the importance of selecting an investment professional and how and why some products are not investor-friendly. Chris Vernon has spoken at similar events before and looks forward to helping make sure that the investor’s interests are a primary concern.
